Sampling Media

At Irwell we offer bespoke resin trap kits to protect the integrity of the sampling media during transit & to improve ease of shipping & handling. Our kits are easily conveyable & can be shipped in units of up to six per box.

Dioxins, Furans & PCBs

We offer methods for the determination of 7 dioxin congeners, 10 furan congeners & 12 PCB congeners of toxicological significance, as well as 7 marker PCBs, as specified in the relevant standards (listed below):

  • Stationary Source Emissions (STACK gas) - BS EN 1948 & EPA Method 23
  • Environmental Solids (soil, ash, dust, sediment & sludge) - EPA 1613 & EPA 1668
  • Water - EPA 1613 & EPA 1668
  • Ambient Air - EPA 1613 & EPA 1668


Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons

Our PAH suite includes 25 analytes, including the EPA 16, those listed in the Waste Incineration Directive (WID) & coronene in the following matrices:

  • Stationary Source Emissions (STACK gas) - ISO 11338
  • Ambient Air


Brominated Dioxins/Furans

We offer a suite of 14 PBDD/Fs as specified by the Environment Agency's (EA) Method Implementation Document (MID) for BS EN 1948, in the following matrices:

  • Stationary Source Emissions (STACK gas)
  • Ambient Air


Brominated Diphenyl Ethers

We offer a suite of 10 PBDEs including BDE 209:

  • Stationary Source Emissions (STACK gas)
  • Environmental Solids (soil, ash, dust, sediment & sludge)
  • Water
  • Ambient Air
